Short Sales/ Interest

Short Sales/ InterestSo just playing around with trying to see if my broker (RBC) is shorting D9 stock.

There were about 100,000 shares on the bid at $0.105 when I executed a sell order for 700,000 shares at $0.175. Obviously this trade wont get filled with the current bid but almost immediately (magically) now there are over 350,000 shares on the bid. Either coincidence or those shares were out short and RBC is looking to cover in the event that there is a run in the SP.

Has anyone else every played with putting sell orders above market to see if it impacts the level 2/ bid/ ask?
