Bolivars versus crypto? Now that is not really a fair comparison as both are not widely accepted as currency. But if I had a choice living where I do I would go with the Bolvar in that even though there are financial controls on Venezuela, living in the Deep South, there are plenty of Venezulaens around and I am sure ways to convert Bolivars, at a discount to be sure.

I know Mexican businesses around here price and take pesos and I am sure other Central and South American currencies. Now as to Crypto I don't know or have heard of any business that will take bitcoin or even know what it is. Until the Euro depreciated it was accepted widely around here since we trade so heavily internationally. There were even signs in restaurant windows that Euros were welcome and even Danish krones. Never ever have seen a sign ."crypto welcome"!
