So I am glad that EXRO has the smarts to target this market first. And let's not lose sight of the fact that the high voltage units have higher margins, even at volume.
DC Chargers are a problem everywhere. Huge numbers of YT videos detailing the issues faced by EV owners.
Two things need to happen, the first being better battery chemistry to overcome the thermal runaways that we see.... a more economical way to facilitate en route charging. AC fast charging is one of those possible solutions.
For that to occur though, all inverters would require Coil Driver tech and or it's capabilities. This could open up the possibility for EXRO to license their IP depending on how robust their IP is.
I am of the view that it would be great if EXRO could license some of their tech and earn $$$ from other companies in the inverter market.
It's done all the time in the auto industry.
