RE:RE:RE:A 'Saltarelli' On Steroids?Thanks fuzzyjr.
I think some were way overcommited here to a single very high risk stock. They didn't manage risk properly in a portfolio context and they are now controlled by dissapointment, anger, and frusteration. They have lost focus on the emerging opportunity at hand and are lost in the past or focused on the personal failure. They aren't rolling with the punches with a clear mind. They don't fully appreciate what hit them in the worst biotech market in history. I've warned of the risks and pointed out 25% of biotech was trading below cash in recent months. From a once-in-a-century pandemic to Putin's war(largest in Europe in about 70 years) we've suffered multi-decade high inflation. Central banks have been slamming on the brakes and long-dated assets like biotech where the cashlow can be many, many years in the future have been slammed hard. Many biotech stocks will go under or undergo a significant reset with massive dilution. After COVID delays and in the worst biotech market in history BTI is trying to reset and create a stronger more resilient company. It is focusing on the future and trying to escape what has kept it back for a long time. The stock is still very high risk and hopefully there is more clarity with the webinar on Tuesdayand and in the near future with events. The market is still at risk as central bankers and the market try to resolve the ongoing inflation problem. We are at risk of a potential crash near term. This is a time of uncertainty.
