RE:RE:RE:Stanley....ShortsLurk & Learns & K:
Thanks for the kudos & the Merry Christmas sentiment(s)
RE: To enact the manoevre as structured, had to be a result of unyielding pressure from the Financiers , who demonstrate little empathy for the loyal, hopeful, Mom and Pop Investor .
Stanley: In the Tier 3 space (explorers including in those who might be pre-development) your use of the term "financiers" is way to complimentary; I would describe them with much less flattering language.
RE: I had to smile at the Betsy the Cow analogy, all the while thinking that you were alluding to " cow pasture " prospects of coming to the fore.
Stanley: An even simpler analogy is the process of ringing a dish cloth.
RE: Continue to Hold and am optimistic...all the Best in and through 2023
Stanley: For those who understand the vagaries of living and working in T & T, I believe that over the past 10+ years PB has made a valiant/commendable effort to optimise his navigation of the Trini reality.
Using the fish finder analogy here. While he has made a valiant attempt to placate the "fish" that he may be aware of it may the the ones that "ply their business plan" on the cover of darkness away from the fish finder's focus/range.
BWDIK? While he has made a valiant attempt to placate the "fish" that he may be aware of it may the the ones that "ply their business plan" on the cover of darkness away from the fish finder's focus.
Point being, HISTORICALLY expats may have good intentions when they "cut and paste their own version of local engagement" not fully realizing that Trini's have come to resent this over the past (say) 100 years;
Going foward only by really learning the (possible TXP) local examples of the "the laws of unintended consequences" would the the Christmas hampers (versus say Gift Cards) be seen as a more realistic effort at local engagement/sentiment augmentation.
e.g. The history vis a vis the removal of any reference to "Guabine" might be a start.
GLTAL GLAP Caveat Emptor
Cheers
