The chart on Gold is so tough to read and took so many years to form. When Gold spiked in 1980 and went up an aprox 1000% it pulled for many years and it wasn't until 2006 that it spiked again but when it did it ran all the way to $1900 over the course of 5years.. It then pulled again and took 9years to reach new highs breaking over 2000.. What is interesting on the chart is it appears the timelines are shortening as it has become apparent the state the world is truly in.. When Gold ran from a $100 to $900 in 1980 that only took 4years to happen... It was in 2020 we hit that high near $2100  and 2years later retested it... If GOLD goes thru 2k this year it will likely be similiar stocks where the third attempt takes you to new highs and given golds history when that happens it will be one very large move.. Will it happen this year?/ perhaps not.. but I suspect it will happen in the next few years and when it happens the move will likely be parabolic.. 10K Gold is most definately not out of the question.

Take a Gold chart and set the timeline to 1mth and extend the chart.. this link works well but you must set the timeline to 1mth and then move your scroll button on the mouse to extend it out to 1975. This gives you a very nice picture of what happenned to Gold over the past 40yrs.
