Here is my speculative take on what might happen to our Point Rousse Project.

Sokoman Minerals (SIC ) has a spectacular high grade gold discovery at MooseLake which is close to the DeepWater port of Botwood and about 200 km from Point Rousse by paved highway.

Moosehead is finding grades as high as 1 ounce per ton and continuing to have excellent drill results .
It also the  The Fleur de Lys Project which is conveniently located between our Point Rouse Project and Tilt cover Project .
Between all three projects, almost the entire Bay Verte Peninsula is taken up by these three projects.
Bay Verte is one of the most prospective gold areas in Canada , having demonstrated so by its several very high grade gold mines .

In fact the Fleur de Los. Super Grouo and the Dalradian Supergroups are believed to be equivalent sequences of metamorphic rocks spatially associated with major structural breaks.
and the Dalradian Supergroups are believed to be equivalent sequences of metamorphic rocks spatially associated with major structural breaks.

This is world class prospectivity for high grade gold.
Now, consider what the 500,000 tpa Pine Cove mill would produce if it's head grades were 22 grams per ton instead of 2 grams per ton.

Voila, it can produce 200,000 ounces per year.

And accessible by road and boat to the Pine Cove mill and those high grades means much less tonnage needs to be transported.

So, here is how I see this unfolding.

SIC acquires the Point Rouse project either by shares or cash.
Part of that deal is that Signal is given 50 % of the Fleur de Lys project  which , combined with Tilt Cive makes a superb advanced exploration project.

Fleur de Lys and Tilt Cove are spun out to shareholders including seed cash and the Sokoman shares.

This creates a superb Junior gold explorer , ranking among the best in Canada, Sokoman gets its Fleur project explored and it has a mill plus exploration potential at Point Rousse to keep the mill cash flowing and a cheap mill ready for the when the Moosehead project reached FS .

Everyone is a winner.

We have exciting times ahead.

I would really like to have a bidding war for Point-Rousse assets but I do not think your scenario with Sokoman is a valid one as they are really far from producing dor bar as they are still exploring their properties.  Even with their Flagship Moosehead exploration project (as there is no NI-43101 report yet), I do not think they are interrested in acquiring Point-Rousse at all : as with New Found Gold Queensway project, Moosehead will stay a promising high grade underground deposit that could be mined in 10 years from now. It will take years and a lot of drilling (and ca$h) to conceptualize the resource and design the underground mining. Projects like Queensway and Moosehead might seem sexy with their 100g+/ton hole but they are pretty tough to put in production. It's better for Sokoman to keep drilling Moosehead and hope for the same hype that happen for New Found Gold got with Queensway.

So no, I do not see Sokoman bidding for P-R assets at this time.
