I notice you don't say a thing about  all the Nortel  employees who piaid into a pension plan and worked there for 15  /  20 /  25 yrs. and got nothing when it went  but you say they were greedy. I would like to see you say that face to face  with a few of them and see what kind of reaction you get.
Some of them were in their 50's and 60's and had nothing to show for it after they lost their pensions and had to keep on working way past normal retirement age. 

Get off your high horse ! !
