I don't really care much about rating numbers but would like to understand the censorship issue. How does your "like" score drop? Are they reviewing old posts and if they delete them, the thumbs up disappear too?

Nobody should give a rat's patootie what the score is. It's loosely based on participation, not just thumbs up your own patootie. S/h cleverly doesn't disclose exactly how it works so there is an internal fudge factor. But if you want a rough idea how it works, go to your profile. Below your "reputation" score , in small print, is a link for " more about reputation" click on it and there is a vague explanation that it's calculated monthly, and is a 12 month rolling number. So when they update last week, it's for December data. December 2022 is added and December 2021 is dropped. So you can see a one day jump or drop of 100 points or more. Plus any/all adjusting they arbitrarily choose to do. There are also statistics like who had the highest score last month, highest ever etc. I'd note the guys with the highest scores,  like over 10,000 , game the stockhouse system, probably use shared or group or multiuser troll farm accounts and have ulterior motives aimed at making money off ordinary schmucks like the rest of us. Just sayin. Points aren't assigned based on good or bad. Like the SNL skit goes about making change. How do they do it? Volume! Volume! Volume!
