RE:RE:RE:Day 1There's a big contingent think that a legal pot breathalyzer is the holdup to marijuana legalization at the Federal level.
A lot of lawmakers have made that point which could be part of the holdup. Driving while stoned is an issue and the proper thing to do is not to do it but there are those that will, just like with alcohol and other drugs of which the most prolific are probably prescriptions.
Law enforcement is screaming for a real thc breathalyzer that is familiar and easy to use like the pistol type blood alcohol testers and actually there is probably more market for it with business where anybody operates equipment and such.
Big problem, big screwups by impaired people and big costs to companies, law enforcememt and insurance companies who have to pay the bills for the screwups or allocate blame.
Cannabix has focues on the solution and alternate revenue sources like ignition interlocks, special captive sample devices that will fit the Mass Spectrometer which is the go-to test for searching out impairing drugs or chemicals.
I too remember the old $3 days but also remember the BAC days where those companies achieved $30-$40 per share for the successful ones that were first to list and supply a working model.
Technology is moving forward at astounding speed and I believe that Cannabix has the right idea with their technology that will probably work for private industry to detect thc consumption recently enough to be an issue.
Hound hasn't been yippin' much about their product of late!
I don't know of anybody any closer to the real deal thc breathalyzer but it could be anybody's game.
