RE:RE:RE:RE:Short Sell Report Jan 1-15 2023

RE:RE:RE:RE:Short Sell Report Jan 1-15 2023My take on this is that short selling is just another way of gambling for the more "savvy" investors. And even then it is far from a sure win.

So even if you do not own the share that you are selling, you are putting up a sort of bond saying that you are good for it.

If the shorts are still around and a partner deal is signed, they can get caught in a short squeeze and loose alot.

"Another risk faced by short sellers is that of a "short squeeze," in which a stock with a large short interest (i.e., a stock that has been heavily sold short) climbs rapidly in price. This triggers a steeper price ascent in the stock as more and more short sellers buy back the stock to close out their short positions and cap their losses."

So in our case, seeing a lot of shorts can mean that they do not see the deal hapenning very short term (less than a month)

I am hoping that they are wrong.

My new forecast for a deal is towards the end of February.
