RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Textmont distraction Here are the ceo posts that I mentioned earlier. I hop Mark did his homework on this deposit, because it looks like it has been dormant for 50 years for a reason. These don't sound like someone who is bashing CNC, it sounds like someone speaking from personal experience:

@Retiredchairman I worked at Texmont in the summer of 72' and it was quite the experience. The mine was a mile from the power line but Hydro would not hook up power to the mine. Power was from Cat Generators and the fuel companies would not deliver without cash payment. Bears would visit the cookhouse on a regular basis. One weekend they shot 10 bears at the dump and then dug a hole to burry them with a loader that had no brakes. The same front end loader that they would bring supplies to the cage with and to stop it you put it in reverse. :)

from #cnc,

@Retiredchairman They could never make mill grade due to dilution from the serpentinite on the hanging wall diluting the ore. It would cause the flotation tanks to overflow weekly and then a shovel crew would shovel the concentrates into barrels before putting it back into the feed for the flotation tanks.
