Nano One Materials Corp T.NANO

Alternate Symbol(s):  NNOMF

Nano One Materials Corp. is a clean technology company with a patented, scalable and low-carbon intensity industrial process for the low-cost production of high-performance lithium-ion battery cathode materials. It specializes in the production of low-cost, high-performance cathode active materials for lithium-ion batteries. Its technology is applicable to electric vehicles, energy storage, and consumer electronics, reducing costs and carbon intensity while improving environmental impact. Its patented One-Pot process is engineered to make cathode materials directly from non-sulfate forms of battery metals. Its Metal to Cathode Active Material (M2CAM) Technology enables sulfate-free metal powder inputs which eliminates 100% of wasteful sodium sulfate by-products while simplifying manufacturing. The One-Pot process simplifies production and enables its M2CAM technology. Its simplified One-Pot process enables cathodes to form simultaneously with their protective coating at the nano level.

WHAT'S COOKIN' GOOD LOOOKIN'

WHAT'S COOKIN' GOOD LOOOKIN'I've quietly followed this company for about 6 months now.  For the past month, I've taken a far more active interest in the story, and the company's progress.  Today, I bought the stock.

First of all, I think the "story" of the stock is excellent.  By all accounts they will have leading edge technology in what will be an extremely high demand area.  The story is understandable for the masses (which is important as the stock becomes "discovered" by a wider auidence), and I think we are now at the very leading edge of buying interest coming in to the stock.  Actually, it still might be a touch early (not much), but I really don't mind being first to the party.  It's where the biggest gains get made.

The second component is timing.  There are all kinds of examples of people who buy the right idea, or the right company, but there is a road to travel before the company and their technology becomes fully commercially viable.  We have seen this actually in this very stock, where at one point the stock ran quickly up in to the $6.00+ range, only to fall back as people realized the time horizon was still a long way away.  They lost interest, sold, and the stock did what all such stocks do.  It languished.

As I said earlier, I always did like this company's story and their technology.  Important also, I like their management, who seem forthright, prudent, and driven.  That's a great combination.  So the question truly now becomes an assessment as to when the timing is right, where the market as a whole gravitates to the potential without the time horizon being too long.

I think that point is now upon us.  Typically the market is forward looking 4-6 months.  I'm willing to suggest (and act upon) that interest level even being out a couple of months further, as the potential here, and the demand, is just too potent.  So let's say optimistically 8 months lead time for the market. But does that mean we have to wait 8 months for that interest to kick in and for the share price to advance?  No, not at all.  That interest starts now, and the share price moves accordingly.  In 8 months, it's already much much higher.

Make no mistake.  If you're buying in now, you're an early adopter to the stock.  But I think the timing IS right, and the upside potential to move strongly is there.  NOT some fluff hype rally.  Real strength based on real potential.  There is money to be made in this stock, and the timing to take the position is now there.

Enjoy
