RE:RE:RE:Eric NuttallTSX energy index was up 50% last year as well.   Like I always say, it has been proven over and over again active management has zero value over buy and hold.  There are always those who feel otherwise . Fine, but the statistics do not support your anecdotes. The longer the time frame you consider, the more buy and hold is superior.  Eric will say all the right buzzwords to try to get you to send him money . I dont blame him but good luck with that.  He didnt pull all his money and sit in cash for the 8 garbage years in the industry. How is that active management ?  You went down like the rest of us.  A waste of whatever fee he charges.
