RE:RE:"Canada is a bit player in...Cobalt" Feb 1 G and MExactly.  There is very significant value in being an establised producer vs some pipe dream or stuck in a never ending regulatory saga.

I say good, the price should be what encourages increased supply. If the world wants these minerals they need to pay a fair price for them. I am against government insentives. However, the red tape should be reduced for all things in general in this country. 


Right now with our carbon pricing in Canada we are insetivising the outsourcing of our manufacturing. To make it fair we need to put a price on the carbon used in other countries to manufacture our goods (ie China). Otherwise we are just shifting demand for less carbon intensive Canadian products to demand for more carbon intensive Chinese products.
