The Company is in the process of building a portfolio of royalty-based cash flow streams by partnering with clean technology innovators in the commodity space. It is focused on providing solutions to the mining sector of Canada's oil sands industry. The Company has developed a suite of technologies called Creating Value from Waste (CVW) which is designed to recover bitumen, solvents, critical minerals, and water from oil sands froth treatment tailings, which would reduce tailings pond fugitive methane emissions, volatile organic compounds, and enhance tailings management. Its technology is designed to intercept oil sands froth treatment tailings before discharge to tailings ponds, recover commodities such as bitumen, solvents and valuable critical minerals while reducing GHG emissions, VOC emissions, tailings volume and other environmental impacts. Erasmus

ErasmusSaw the news release notification, and got excited for a second, then disappointed to see Erasmus leaving. Looks like a ton of experience out the door, but then again, he's a design engineer and his work is largely done, and he is moving in to a different project. What really caught my attention was when I did a quick Google search of him, and found a profile link that described his 'previous' work with CVW. I think I learned more about where CVW is at with negotiations from this than I have from anything CVW has officially released. What are people's take on this?

Responsible for delivering the CVW Horizon project at Canadian Natural Resources Ltd.’s Horizon oil sands site near Fort McMurray, Alberta. Planned and led the front-end engineering and design (FEED, FEL-3) of the CVW Horizon facilities in conjunction with 3rd party engineers, CNRL personnel, various government groups, and grant funding agencies. Planned and co-led subsequent joint optimization and design validations with CNRL’s Major Projects group, including procurement plans, construction strategies, risk management strategies, and final economic evaluations to aid final project investment decisions. Evaluated, selected, and contracted engineering contractors, equipment suppliers, module fabricators, and construction companies.
Explored various product off-take potentials with Asian producers for zircon concentrate feedstock and expanded the process to include an additional ilmenite product line for added revenue. Developed products logistics plan, designed, and estimated a road-to-rail transload facility and a harbour facility together with 3rd party railway and harbour companies. Developed commercialization strategy, commissioning and ramp-up plans, and operating budgets with the associated project execution and operating manpower plans.
