Today the powers that be speak about how tough it will be to give money to health care due to high interest rates and inflation. The chest is empty. If we spend they say we might create more inflation and even higher interest rates. And yet certain groups here in Canada are getting way more than their fair share. People outside of this country also have great joy when the Canadian leader shows up as he always brings the cheque book. For me i have had about all that i can handle but will wait for the next election. If the reults are the same it will no longer be a snowbird just a permanent relocation move as the country will surely be doomed.

more to say about CERB.   For those who were genuinely impacted by the pandemic
those benefits were truly needed and a godsend but when you have inelligible gov't
employees freely dipping in and others as well to the tune of $27.4B,  well that shows
how incompetent and how out of control the spending is in Ottawa.

The real problem besides incompetency is just where is the money going to come
from to finance and pay for these expenditures?   I would submit that oil & gas is
one very good source of revenue for Canadas generous social agenda and yet
these same self righteous idealogues would like to shut down the industry as it
is too dirty for them.   I would strongly suggest that Mr Trudeau and his party in
combination with their sidekicks,  the NDP and this country are in no financial position
to turn their nose up at oil & gas revenue now or at any time in the near future
and would be better served to more accomodative to the industry than their present
negative stance.   Whether that reality will ever dawn on them is unknown but
if they don't get a grip on reality,  they'll find themselves begging at the door of
the IMF as beggar nation one day soon.

Idk what the answer is to our situation. Harper coined the phrase "energy super power" yet nothing ever really got done under his leadership. Certainly no pipelines. The turning point for our oil and gas industry is more indigenous cooperation as opposed to opposition. What we need is a government that is not almost solely focused on climate change at the expense of everything else. I'd much rather be a follower on climate change than a leader. Ditch the climate change focus coupled with indigenous support and the industry will prosper, regardless of who's sitting in Ottawa

I do not think Trudeau can win another election. He's lost the popular vote in the last two elections. The Conservatives aren't going to lose any of their vote with PP as a leader and it seems likely to me at this point that the country is getting increasingly fed up with Trudeau.

Never underestimate the idiocy of the GTA and other Cidiot voters.  They've re-elected Trudeau twice and also made sure his lap dog Singh is there to keep him in power.  And now they want to game the system with more mail-in ballots.    I too contemplate moving out of country.

our plan is to leave aswell.  we don't see any recovering from this freak show of leadership.  like to see a nice fat dividend here to make my departure that much sweeter
