Hi prophet, the jobs data does not tell us where we are going only where we have been. Low unemployment precedes a recession as any other Economist would tell you.

Guess what happened 7 months before Dec 2007? The US had the lowest unemployment rate at that time at 4.4%.
7 months later the economy goes into a severe recession.

What happened before March, 2001? Or any previous recession? Things go from really good to really bad usually within a year. The odds are stacked against us that things will be different this time.
