RE:For All of You That Think BNS is A Buy Because it Lags

RE:For All of You That Think BNS is A Buy Because it Lags Your choice of random time periods/frames are not a good indicator of how BNS has fared in the market. Surely, you must know that it's all about the timing!

I purchased BNS in March/April of 2020. My in-price position for 800 shares was $52.84 p/s. I divested the full position in March/22 @ $93.00 for a nice capital gain, plus of course a nice dividend yield over the 2 year period. Btw, the position was held in my TFSA, so all gains were tax free!

I recently repurchased 400 shares in July/22 @ $74.80 and another 400 in Sept/22 @ $67.85, for an average share price of $71.33. I'll hold again until it nears the $93 range and divest it all again.

Buy when no one wants it... sell when everyone wants it... rinse and repeat... been working for years.

It's my humble opinion that BNS will contine do just fine and make money for those of us who are fairly diligent in their timing.
