US Border Traffic for product increases

US Border Traffic for product increasesWalmart and Home Depot complained today that high inflation is hurting them and it's getting harder to overcharge and gouge customers for China-made krap but today's release of Jan US Border Traffic shows an increase in container trucks and trains moving product over Dec numbers. These are Jan numbers and it takes over half a month to compile data but if you compare you'll see this increase. The only problem with this spreadsheet is that it's a calendar year so you'll have to open 2 spreadsheets to compare. Pick borders like Detroit and Buffalo both main borders. These numbers are more for curiosity than anything else but I like looking at all aspects of the economy..higher volume translates into higher fuel demand and if the product is increasing then so is manufacturing.
