What's the deal??Does Heckla get this company March 15th for $.10 USD plus a spinco consisting of a few of Atac's copper properties they valued at USD $.06? Hardly think that makes sense if Rackla and all the other assets are only going for only $.10. Spinco will probably be down to $.02 after the shareholders are left with Hecla, a company that has increased very little since inception in 1891. Why is management so interested in making a deal with Hecla? Really not much better than Victoria's offer because that spinco doesn't amount to too much. Are the shareholders going to vote on this proposal? Management only owns 2% of the stock. A 2% group that has watched the stock drop from $9.00 to $05 wuthout taking any action to improve the price until Victoria offered to double the value of the stock 100% overnight. I reentered ATAC in the past year after being gone for ten years. I will make a nice profit if the deal is made and moveon. I feel for the shareholder that has been with ATAC for a long time hoping for the big payoff. I hope another company jumps in with a better offer for the shareholders.
