So when Liberty and Edgewater meet with Heavy Reading for this "webby", and if they happen to confirm what Andrew has been saying for years, regarding performance and contention, interference, improved reliability and anything else they chose to discuss, what does that mean for the future consideration of our tech vs any other new marketed break through hardware or software?

It may or may not get marketed out the ying Yang, but as liberty has already stuck their neck out with their time and resources for this micro cap and additionally saying OTT it's this break through "new silicone", what is the difference between this marketing and that of any other up and coming tech already widely accepted? How is it any different from a layman's point of view? If it is marketed the public is to take it as much as any other company slapping gold letters on the box saying "newer faster better" I don't see a difference.

Marketers do not consider the Leo's of the world. It's for 99.9 percent of consumers. The engineers and tech bloggers can tear it down only so much. It'll be marketed the same as any other new special toy the providers  thinks they can make money off of, no soffeeent then the latest and greatest from max linear Broadcom ect.

I don't suspect liberty walks away from this if they really come out saying "break through new silicone" and who TF really cares about channel assignment  applications? We don't know who or what has been developed in secret by Edgewater cable labs ect, otier then that they have alluded to new permits pending.

lefs make some money!
