I find it all very strange.

I think the ASX and the TSX have different rules for what NRs require a halt.  For the TSX this NR did not require a halt.  Maybe a financing to cover a Convertible Note requires a halt in Australia but not in Canada.  Tha'ts all I can think of. . .

LB doesn't seem to be one of those CEOs who halts for every stupid little announcement like some public coompanie do, so if he halted it was probably mandatory.
