Glad you are doing well Goosey....
In the end, scientific success certainly doesn't equate to commercial success, hence TLT's interest in finding a strong partner/jv. The "right" Pharma partner will provide the commercial know-how & get us into their established market channels. The "wrong" Pharma partner will try to get us on the cheap & promote its other drugs (in which they have invested heavily) while we get little promotion & spend time sitting on the shelf. As always, success is in the contract details (proper terms/milestone payments, etc.). Also, TLT'S ACT is not a one-size-fits-all treatment. Therefore, any partner imo should have to pay a premium knowing that they were the first to get their feet in the door & could be putting themselves in a very exclusive & prosperous position...indefinitely.
Then if all goes as planned in terms of a broad-scale launch, there has to be a willing & preferably innumerable buyer/end-user. Hopefully, physician leaders, authorities in the field & those who influence or set policy/standards of care help carry the torch & be unbiased/active supporters of this (or anny) promising new tech/drug. Gone are the days when drug & tech sales reps had influence, especially when free golf trips are no longer attached. Good luck & keeping the faith for you & TLT.
