There no sign of these transaction in the Bomber numbers so:
With the order, the customer give hundreds of checks to suppliers, two years in advance, (70% of the jet in parts) for the deposits. Bundles of checks with a rubber.

Well explained.
One thumb up.

not exactly the way you explained it ... there is a tighter exchange between when you purchase parts and when you pay for them ..so as you build , you get paid and in return you pay the supplier as you build/get parts to do so.....many businesses had a 30 day delay before you paid your supplier and it would cost you ,say 2%, that does not fly well now so you have to pay up front and sometimes leave a deposit for parts now ... to give you an example of the reality in business today ... I have never left a deposit to order a new car before  but they have my money for over a year and a half now,  with no delivery date , and I know of others with different makes that have done the same...paying over MSRP used to happen on higher luxury vehicles where it is happening on many makes and models now... leaving deposits when making a reservation was never a thing but it is now ..re-stocking fees on returns were rare before , and you guessed it , it's happening more and more ...
