You dont need to win an election here, just finish 3rd in a minority and you could be kingmaker.
Last federal election NDP recived less than 16% of the vote but now basically call the shots.
Even the latest polls for 2025 (still a long time away) show the PC in a minority.
Same scenario could play out. If it holds, they will need to make deal with NDP or BLOC.
Maybe need to install new legislation, a party receiving less than 25% of the vote can not join in a governing coalition.
The 2 party sysytem in the U.S. is much better.
Its the quality of the people that they send to congress that is the issue.
