URU DRILLING INSIGHT Can we learn anything from ( URU ) exploration + drilling ?
Sure can.
Exploration -
Define and outline high grade surface targets.
Ensure drills will have an odds of, some success.
Drilling -
Surficial high grades right at surface
And.... boom, grades diminish with in first meter
seen in orange markers on drill intercept chart.
0.03% - 1% at depth vs high grade at surface.
How could this be ?
As mentioned in prior post...
Such would point to, REEF copper. ( theory )
Microbes munching on the ( modest grade ) copper host rock
containing 0.03% - 1% and creating high grade transition copper
Muted Hues of copper, malachite/azurite, and perhaps carbonate.
Native copper along with Malachite green and Azurite blues.
In this next photo, notice the rim of rock appearing white
with white stryations in the interior, my hunch says, calcite.
Green and blue - transitional coppers with what appears as,
calcite and converted - silica - perhaps transitioned from acids
bewaking down the silica sands into silicic acid and converting
back into a smooth silica to reweld into rock with calcite assistrnce.
In my opinion, and yes, i maybe wrong,
But it seems there are numerous signs that point to reef copper.
Upper Colombia - reef formations still intact - better deposit style
Near Coal Mines - Thin crustal and diseminated
URU mountains - more dispersed creating disemination of reef ores.
much harder to get at.
What does the first location i pointed out look like ?
Any - simularities to the copper max is finding ?
Are there rocks that have same color disposition as max's ?
Yes.... and, as mentioned it is my belief it's a copper reef still
intact, not seen as much siesmic activity as Cesar or, uru.
Makes no sense why max is working the uru - jungle deep,
no roads, field crews carrying equipt on - bunny trails....
Or.... does one investigate the idea of, reef copper formations
and consider the two superb areas i've outlined ?
To close the post,
lets look at another rock specimen from max....
Several copper hues, with iron.
Perhaps each in carbonate forms pointing to, reefs.
Silica appears it too has seen a transition.
Nolonger a quartz, or, silica sands but moreso, felds texture.
What else ?
I'm seeing 5 distinct ( round blebs ) could it be, fossilized reef organisms ?
Open photo below in new window, expand and zoom in...
Interesting, eh ?
Cheers...
My posts are not investment advice.
Upper colombian reef zones are not owned by, Max.
Merely pointing out porential areas the junior might be interested in.
Prez did comment in a former article,
Max is wanting to assist Colombia in the conversion of, energy
using copper ( in so many words ).
I wiuld say, uru jungle copper ain't the best path.
Perhaps a revamp on, 2023 exploration plans would be a
good idea ?
Psssst....
Reef Copper.
Wink.
