The state-owned petroleum company Namcor’s board has confirmed the demands made by its suspended managing director, Imms Mulunga, to be reinstated.
Company spokesperson Paulo Coelho on Wednesday said the company is finding ways to deal with the issue.
“We want to assure everyone that we are indeed aware of the ongoing situation.
“Our board of directors is actively involved, diligently working and deliberating on this matter, dedicating the necessary attention and resources towards reaching a resolution,” he said.
Mulunga was shown the door temporarily a few months ago after being accused of signing contracts worth more than N$100 million without the board’s approval."
