Tilray just locked in

Tilray just locked in150 million at a very decent rate of about 5%.

There shareprice took a hammering today although I'm not sure if it was just their turn for a beatdown or shareholders didn't like the fund raising deal, although I don't know what is to dislike about being able to raise money to keep in the game until the other guys blink and fade away.

I am probably one of the longtime posters with Tinley and have followed this since near inception.

During this time I had the opportunity to cash out handsomely back in the good old $2 Hemplify days when we rebranded a hotel in Vegas and did a little promotion.

THC was always on Jeff's mind and the rapid switch to THC instead of staying the course with Hemplify was argueable given the problems they were having with THC launches in California.

He was successful in getting it into production and some sales, all done in very troubling times and with a Canadian ID that probably didn't help with our success.

There was a lot of flip floppin' around and rubbing up on some questionable characters that didn't turn out well, that didn't help either.

Through all of that I still feel that THC and CBD, and the other derivatives of CBG and others that I can't remember right now will niche in to soft alcohol's marketshare when we get a level playing field with alcohol.

I don't believe I am the only one that is dissapointed in the US politicians, and Canadian ones too, for their failure to respond to the requests of the invested lobbyists.

My gut tells me that medicinal use is what has kept this concept of thc for adult rec use alive.

I really think the future for a new direction is proving medical use claims and I feel very strongly that rec use for adults will thrive when commonsense prevails to not mandate that pot and booze can't be served in the same venue.

Cannabinoid infused beverage skus are a perfect fit for alcohol bars and lounges, mostly for healthier options for boozers that know the downside of alcohol consumption.0

Tinley, at one time, seemed to have some first strike advantage but let it slip away by not getting full measure from the awards they won.

As one poster mentioned, Tinley has got to be on the verge of black ink or barring that we will be at the mercy of Blaze who moved strategically to get a hook in us, because they see a future for something we posess.
