Can we explain why it is a buyers market with CRE ?
Sure we can. Many sellers that bought in the 1 to 2 dollar zone decided to move on to something else after seeing the steady decline that started in March. And with no timeline update to support them hanging on.
On the other hand, buyers are standing on the sidelines (do not try to catch a falling knife)
The only thing that can break this pattern now is either a big institutional buyer who goes for a sizeable position or news of financing.
It is heartbreaking though to see that play out these last 2 weeks.
Fundamentals have not changed, and analysts are still saying 4 to 6 bucks.
If you have not sold, you have lost nothing. (except maybe some hair and sleep).
Personnaly I still believe news is very close now and we should see some very positive (and valuable) news before the end of June.
