The Viken Property totals 37,211 hectares (ha) where the Viken nr one mineral license covers the majority of the polymetallic Viken Deposit. The Tomtebo covers an area of 5,144 ha and is located 175 kilometers (km) northwest from the capital city of Stockholm in Sweden. The Gruvberget covers an area of 5,286 ha and is located approximately 230 km northwest from the capital city of Stockholm in Sweden. The Svardsjo covers an area of 1,037 ha and is located approximately 200 km northwest from the capital city of Stockholm in Sweden. The Ardnasvarre nr one mineral license is located within the Arjeplog-Arvidsjaur uranium province. The Bakar Property is located on Northern Vancouver Island.

District Receives Approval of Mineral License Applications

Vancouver, British Columbia--(Newsfile Corp. - July 31, 2023) - District Metals Corp. (TSXV: DMX) (FSE: DFPP); ("District" or the "Company") is pleased to report that Bergslagen Metals AB (a 100% owned Swedish subsidiary of District) has received approval from the Bergsstaten (Mining Inspectorate) for the Sgtjrn nr 101 and 102 mineral license applications to explore for copper, zinc, lead silver, gold, molybdenum and cobalt over a 4,068 hectare (ha) area located in the Jmtland and Vsternorrland Counties in central Sweden (Figure 1).
