RE:Just asking some SU holders...
This being a Friday, let me first say that though i "appreciate" ALL the replies i got to my "enllightening" question, they weren't EXACTLY what i was looking for and most strayed far off the Indian reservation. As an example, takes Nagger's response, though not requested or required, i found quite typical of him & quite comical as well. So not that surprisig coming from someone like him. For the rest of you, you should have KNOWN better! Instead of deflecting and tap dancing around the issue, talking about milk, cows and the evil Strathcona, you guys should have taken the bull by the horns and answered the question straight on. So let me..... let US.....try again! OK? And this time NO cheap magic light show or "Whistling sound*....look at the little birdie here" while you guys run off in a completely different direction.
So to achieve some measure of success here, in making some inroads on this topic, i try to ask this in a different more poignant manner. Assuming your an actual long term, loyal holder/soldier of Suncor, if you wake up one morning and find out that Suncor just boughtout Meg for ~$12B or ATH for ~$3B, how would you feel? Would you say, "well that totally sucks... wtf Suncor???" or would you say "well done Suncor....Great news!"? And i ask PRETTY PLEASE, with a nice big fat RED cherry ontop to answer the question (if you are interested in doing so of course!) DIRECTLY.... on point, without running off in tangents or some impressions of the three stooges with your replies.
Besides my friends, don't YOU ALL want to know what others think? What the consensus is? On something that has a high probability of happening? I mean i could care less becuase i'm not s/h nor do i plan on being one in the future. But for someone that's a staunch & loyal supporter of the company, as well as having a signifiant vested interest in them, don't you guys want to have an idea of where Suncor is going with this? And what the implications could be for them & YOU? I ask this because, should the ongoing "negotiations" with Total on the procurement Fort Hills fall through at some point due to some "irreconcilable differences" between them, the scenarios i've presented above COULD become an actual reality. And the implications quite material for all involved.....
So since this is a FRIDAY......TGIF no less.....i'll let you guys have the stage now.....and of course.....wish you all a great week-end.
