RE:,,,,,,,,,,,,Another CLASSIC ""DisConnect"".............

Red Deer - you are correct about "Mr Market at His Best".  But Mr Market knows the stock originally tanked because rising interest rates made the Kentucky Power deal more expensive leading to a drop from $15 to around $9 at the low.  Now that the cause is removed one would expect the effect to be a rise back to prior levels...in theory.

But Mr Market is able to control things short term and that's what's happening now.  Once they shuffle up portfolios or whatever "short" term issues they have it will go where it should be.  Volume so far in excess of 5.5 million with a DROP in share price on good news...manipulation at its finest.  I expect a really decent rise in share price and will hold until we get there.

The events that have happened now set AQN on the path expressed by shareholders.  It had a less than stellar quarter but that couldn't have been it.  Nor the shorts piling on driving the price lower.  Did Mr. Market teach you that weak hands are easy picking especially if you're big enough to manipulate the market?

I won't try to talk to you about fundamentals, a return to more traditional share multiples, disposing of assets and debt paydown and a shareholder activist group(s) hell bent on realizing the share price potential of AQN.  But I am holding for a handsome payout in the not too distant future.
