RE:RE:RE:RE:14 Month Share Comp - SU, CVE & CNQmarketsense...great post. Glad to see you are still alive and kicking.
I will give one other thing to think about.
Yesterday I was at a dinner party and there was guy there that I had never met before but was a friend of the host. This guy looked like Albert Einstein reincarnated.
Anyway, this guy was a PHD physist who in my assessment had more brains in his pinky that I have in my whole brain. He stated talking about quantum computing. My first thought was how do I stay awake for this? But to this guy's credit he got my attention at the start of his second paragraph. I still don't really know anything about it but basically he said that the computers using this technique are hundreds of millions times faster than the digital computers we use today in our everyday lives.
The way he explained it was that digital computers are basically a bunch of yes no gates (ie they can only move up or down at one time whereas quantum computers can move in millions of directions simultaneously. In essence they can be in more than one place at the same time.
Quantum computers can approach the speed and complexity of the human brain and when you combine this with the databases that sit on the various server farms like Google and combined with artifical intelligence the prospects are off the scale.
On the way home, I said to my wife "Don't know if we will live long enough to see how this turns out but for sure our kids and grandkids will. Hope it works out for the good".
Is there an investment opportunity avenue here?
Think so. Reminds me a lot of the 1970s with the advent of the digital switch and the microprocessor.
For those inclined, it could be a fruitful endeavour to think about this and do some research.
