Royal Helium Ltd. V.RHC

Alternate Symbol(s):  RHCCF | V.RHC.WT.A | V.RHC.WT.B

Royal Helium Ltd. is a Canada-based company, with a primary focus on the production and development of helium and associated gases and is currently producing helium from its Steveville project in Southern Alberta. Its helium reservoir at Steveville is carried primarily with nitrogen. Nitrogen is not a greenhouse gas (GHG) and therefore have a low GHG footprint when compared to plants in other jurisdictions that rely on large scale natural gas production for helium extraction.

RE:RE:Quest for Primary Helium

RE:RE:Quest for Primary Helium

I am just trying to cover my bases on the quest for primary helium. Saskatchewan (and to lesser degree Alberta) have some major advantages. Holbrook basin in Arizona has touted as the "Saudi Arabia" of Helium but that has not worked out  so well so far. Tanzania has amazing geological potential but not proven and as you mentioned challenges and not ideal for NA supply chain for sure. South Africa (Renergen) progressing pretty fast. There may be some opportunities in Montana and Colorado. Very intriguing to me that Minnesota may have promise.

Anyway I can't own all of these but the helium price of $500 per MCF makes me keep hunting to find a way to invest in helium profitably. I do own He1, Noble, RHC, and a dab of DME.  I may try to grab a little PLSR before their appraisal well but almost impossible to buy from US broker right now and I do not have a Canadian brokerage account.

Of the Canadian entrants American Helium doing the best but is private. RHC has that huge wildcard the Nazare at Climax but they have to drill a horizontal well there and they cannot do anything until they get production and revenues and cash flow. They are very capital constrained if the have to pay consultants and interest on loan with dirt cheap shares. Good luck to all. The story is pretty good but they need ready access to capital to thrive. And they  need the steveville plant to work as designed to survive.
