E3 Lithium Ltd V.ETL

Alternate Symbol(s):  EEMMF

E3 Lithium Ltd. is a Canada-based lithium resource company. The Company is focused on commercial development of lithium extraction from brines contained in its mineral properties in Alberta. The Company’s Clearwater Project is located between Red Deer and Calgary in Alberta. Its Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) on-exchange technology uses a sorbent designed to be selective towards lithium ions. Its technology reduces volumes of low-grade brine into a high-grade lithium concentrate, removing nearly all impurities. This produces a clean product for the development of high purity lithium compounds used in Li-ion batteries. The Company has measured and indicated lithium resources in Canada, with 16.2 million tons (Mt) measured and indicated Lithium Carbonate Equivalent (LCE), hosted in the Leduc Aquifer. In addition, it has 0.9 Mt of inferred mineral resources in its Rocky Area.

RE:Brine reinjection volume

RE:Brine reinjection volumeOverdrawn, I have some familiarity with the Leduc formation from my days in the oil patch (now retired) The Leduc formation is blessed with one of the highest porosity/permeabilities of any formations in the world. That means it can support extremely high fluid withdrawal rates (production) as well as injection rates. At one point I worked in the oilfield waste business and we would try to purchase depleted oil wells in the Leduc for waste disposal, mainly because the wells could take large volumes of fluids/solids on vacuum, meaning no pumps were required, saving huge $$ on capital and energy. Re-injection of brine fluids should be similar in this formation. So I would say minimal horsepower required.
My main concern if that they re-inject near the edges of the reservoir (away from brine productions wells) to ensure they don't prematurely dilute lithium in the brine. E3 has been extremely thorough with no short-cuts and IMO they will have developed a great plan for reinjection of the brines, All great here IMHO DYODD
