Baytex Energy Corp. is a Canada-based energy company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, development and production of crude oil and natural gas in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin and in the Eagle Ford in the United States. Its crude oil and natural gas operations are organized into three main operating areas: Light Oil USA (Eagle Ford), Light Oil Canada (Pembina Duvernay / Viking) and Heavy Oil Canada (Peace River / Peavine / Lloydminster). Its Eagle Ford assets are located in the core of the liquids-rich Eagle Ford shale in South Texas. The Eagle Ford shale covers approximately 269,000 gross acres of crude oil operations. Its Viking assets are located in the Dodsland area in southwest Saskatchewan and in the Esther area of southeastern Alberta. It also holds 100% working interest land position in the East Duvernay resource play in central Alberta.

RE:RE:Misfortune and the like.Coby I think you have it backwards. If you look back at my posts, you will see that I added in the mid $4s inthe summer.  I have a core position that I do not touch but that's because I was up over 300% FROM MY INITIAL PURCHASE! I cashed out but kept the same $ amount of shares. I add and sell based on where I think the market is going. I am up 20% from my summer purchase in total. So YES September is usually a bad month but I am still making money. My post was directed at the fact that this is directly linked to the commodity. When the commodity goes up in value, BTE should follow. I found it odd that the last few days, this did not happen.  It did , however drop more when the commodity was red...Anyhow thanks again for pointing out the obvious to all of us amateurs here.
