RE:RE:RE:LOOKS LIKE SAYONA

RE:RE:RE:LOOKS LIKE SAYONAChampagne and Fitzgibbon have both been implicated with the Sayona deal and Nemaska.

So it is almost certain that they will try to sell lithium from these mines if they can.

At the moment my questions are :

Will Northvolt implement their own converter ? The NR said they chose that Quebec for the proximity of available hydro power and lithium mines. They do not say proximity of lithium conversion plants. So if they do not have their own converter, they will have to rely on the proposed ones for Nemaska in Becancour or the one for Sayona. The sayona one seems farther away though. I think that both these plants would ramp up to about 25 to 30 thousand tons of LCE per year.

Then, just how much lithium does the Northvolt gigafactory need ??

We do not know all the details of the Northvolt deal. I would like to think that they can choose where they get their lithium from.
