I'm sort of new to investing, so please take this with a grain of salt, but to me it's just too weird a decision to make (buying options below market 2 years early), even as a way to show confidence. It seems like a desperate way to show the company is doing well. Why not instead put out an NR about the company doing well instead (25 SME already signed up for aGPT for example).
I'm 75% that this is also some confidence. Although it could be that there was no other way to get money (in the 25%), it would also be hard to imagine the CEO putting in $80,000 if he knows its going to flop soon.
Appreciate the discussion, it's helping to shape my thoughts because this was such a confusing NR to work out for me.
