Western Copper and Gold Corporation is a Canada-based mining company. The Company is engaged in developing the Casino Project. The Casino Project is a copper-gold mining project in Yukon, Canada. The Casino porphyry copper-gold-molybdenum deposit is located in west central Yukon, in the northwest trending Dawson Range mountains, approximately 300 kilometers (km) northwest of the territorial capital of Whitehorse. The Casino project is located on Crown land administered by the Yukon Government and is within the Selkirk First Nation traditional territory and the Tr’ondek Hwechin traditional territory lies to the north. The Casino Property lies within the Whitehorse Mining District and consists of approximately 1,136 full and partial Quartz Claims and 55 Placer Claims acquired in accordance with the Yukon Quartz Mining Act. The total area covered by Casino Quartz Claims is approximately 21,126.02 hectares (ha). The total area covered by Casino Placer Claims is 490.34 ha.

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Finally!Thanks Marine.  It seems people are looking for a reason for this to "not" happen.  I understand that buyers such as Rio may look at lots of opportunities and many may not be what they want.  But the longer they stay engaged with WRN signals continued interest.  Apparently they haven't found a reason to walk away to this point.  In fact I'd be surprised if they did.  After 3 years of study, discussions, review, site visits, discussions with interested parties they should have all they need to make a decision (good or bad).  They even know YEASB's requirements so they know what's expected there.  Other than the question of electricy grid, I don't think much else unknown and the grid decision is likely years away & the mine should be looked at with information in hand.  I'm not as much of a sophisticated investor as some on this board, however common sense should play a role.  You can only kick the tires for so long before you either buy it or the salesman asks you to step aside.
