You don’t seem to understand the mandate (purpose) of the B of C. It is well aware of the hurt, however, until we learn to spend less collectively to reduce demand for goods and services, it will continue. Its’ focus is the overall economy! If everybody had got the message early there would have not been a need to continue raising rates. The best way to combat inflation is to stop buying goods and services until rates come down.
