Gosh..give Nuttal a break!Honestly, the number of people looking for an excuse to blame someone for market direction and volatility is horrible.
I too follow Nuttal, and like his perspectives...If people don't like the info he provides...DON'T WATCH HIM!
You're getting FREE information off the TV from an analyst who has done the research and share why he is buying or selling a story...Do you not think this can positively or negatively move share prices ..? Of course it does!
That said...he is at the mercy of the markets too...and IMO the volatility and direction of crude often makes little sense.
There is a trade off here when he shares his stories..that is..He can potentially attract new money to a company and raise share price? On the flip side, if he is pumping shares with the intention of unloading..he compromises his reputation...and people will no longer listen to him...
Point is: diy investors should be their own due diligence for the information they receive..
If I were him, I would be doing the very same thing..
Research quality companies and make the investment accordingly...Share the stories...Set your buy/sell targets...
Do you expect him to have his hands tied requiring him to hold once he given his reasons for investing in a company?
