RE:RE:RE:Toyota new engine that will destroy EVsWith enough battery power, it can be done. Use a big rechargeable battery, which makes it an EV: electricity recharges battery which performs eletroysis to proiduce hydrigen.  May not use (much rare earths), but it's not a car powered only by water.

I'm not saying EVs will reign supreme. Fuel cell or hydogren internal combusion engines might make it to prime time. EVs might be developed which use less or no Nd, Pr, Dy, Tb. Those are all threats to the entire rare earth industry. But the laws of pyhsics still apply.
