ANALYSTS, CRYSTAL BALLS AND RABBITS FEETShadow10, you just recently posted that - I don't put a lot of faith in these analysts - as a follow up to one of my posts. Sometime in the recent past I seem to remember that you predicted that Ascot would be $1.60 by now. ( Looks like your Crystal Ball is about as good as mine was.) I remember I got a laugh out of that because that was truly pie-in-the-sky and you were probably quite naive on the history of Ascot. A lot of your posts put a positive spin on what you believe Ascot will do. Nothing wrong with optimism.
You, along with myself and probably hundreds of others are all under water with our investment in Ascot. My crystal ball quit working a long time ago. In the last year I bought more shares at .70 cents then .60 cents and more at .50 cents while holding a rabbits foot inbetween my crossed toes;maybe it was two! I for one will wait until next March to see how this Nightmare of an investment starts to unfold. Where will we be when we no longer need cash? 640,000,000 MM shares outstanding? Will gold finally break the resistance at $2,000/ounce??? Time will tell but I believe the Analysts on their most recent predictions of .85 cents a year from now. One thing I do know is the appetite for owning gold keeps going up with India, China and others. Good Luck to us all - we will need it.
