IF "indigineous protesters" & their questionanle interests/concerns were the ONLY factor to take into consideration by the International arbitersand the courts, then there would be absolutely NO mining at ALL in any Western civilization. And then where would Western civilization be? We would be in dire straights and back in the stone ages?.....Right? There such a thing as the RULE of LAW and legal rights.....property rights.

Look at this way, what if YOUR home & property was suddenly designated & targeted as "indigineous Interests" because the soil & earth of where it rests was at one time walked upon by "indingineous peoples" and therefore is considered sacred ground by THEM.....which in turn should be the property of some long gone, non existant tribe? Should you lose your home for good, which was legally purchased within our current laws btw, without receiving some form of compensation?

I have a lot more to say on the subject of "Indigineous rights" .......and what i REALLY think about it & them. BUT i think i'll stop here..... before this gets really too heated and i get myself in bit of trouble. As far as i'm concerned, Indigineous people & their rights have been a VERY sharp thorn in the side of Western civilization's side, especialyy for Canada & the US, for a VERY long time, and have created all sorts of problems which have set us back years if not decades, in terms of all sorts of progress. All because our Forefathers who conqered & eventually built this country nito what it is today, had some moral compass, some sympathy back then and DID NOT wipe them off the face of the planet like most conquers do. Now that fatal error, has comeback in spades to bite Western Civilization in the literal buttocks......BIG TIME.

The message & lesson here? If you're gonna do what the Greeks, Romans, Mongol Empire, The British Empire & all the great conquers did, then i think its smarter & more prudent (for many reasons we now realize!!!) to do it more like Ghanghis did and less in the way the Europeans powers have unfortunately done so....
