Lise Kistabish is an Algonquin from the Abitibiwinni First Nation, in Abitibi-Tmiscamingue. Daughter of an Anishinabe mother and an Algo-Cree father, she is the eleventh in a family of 14 children. Trilingual, she speaks as well in French and English as in the Algonquin language.
After spending her early childhood in Cochrane, Ontario with her maternal grandmother, she lived until the age of 17 in La Reine, on the border between Quebec and Ontario. Having experienced poverty during this period, she remains today very sensitive to the importance of food, financial and cultural security.
Very early in her career, she discovered a marked interest in administration. She undertook university studies in business administration at the University of Quebec, then successfully completed the short 2nd cycle program in public management in an indigenous context at NAP, where she is still registered as a master's student.
For 25 years, she has worked mainly within the public administration of First Nations, putting to use her management skills as well as her intrinsic understanding of the issues of the Aboriginal world. In particular, she ensures the management of public services for her community, while she serves as general director of the Council of the Abitibiwinni First Nation.
Since 2019, she has been director of the Training, Employment and Social Development sector of her community and a member of the executive of the CDRHPNQ, a collective of 27 communities working in the employment and training sectors. In addition to her rich professional background within various communities, tribal councils and the AFNQL, she has proven experience as an entrepreneur and consultant. She wishes to use her skills and her passion for community development to represent and serve the people of Abitibi–Baie-James–Nunavik–Eeyou in Ottawa.
It is by adopting the role of host family that she has experienced, for 25 years, the joys of parental life. She married her life partner, James Flamand, in 2016 and still lives in Pikogan..."
This lady has political aspirations to help her native community. Perhaps in the next election, she will make a better choice by running for the Conservative Party Of Canada.
The Trudeau Liberals still remain, clinging to power, but only by a very loose thread that is dangling in the wind. This NDP connection to life is bound to fail once their failing leadership, finally smartens up! But even for them, it is now, much too late!
When Poilievre takes over leadership of this country, Canada will again become a nation of which every Canadian, may again, become most proud! At least in a democracy, we the people, have that right to make this fundamental and most necessary change!
The writing is on the wall!
A better change is coming in the wind!
It takes a stronger force to rid us of our present kind of most distinctive, political stench!
Canadians look forward to the a new Conservative federal party holding a majority position in a federal parliament!
This will right our ship in the better direction!
And hold fast to your Abcourt shares!
Production is looming! And there remains a lot of very high grade gold, yet to find!
A good management team at Abcourt Mines is using, the very best, right approach to target this goal!
All the best! Java
