@plisken, they changed the name because trumpist loonies appropriated the term "patriot" and twisted it into something other than its original meaning.

Much like freedom convoy/ anti vax/ anarchist loons appropriated our flag up in Canada.

While "Xtract One" would not have been my first choice, "Patriot" definitely had to go.

And the US Patent Office always keeps the name of the original entity on the patent application.

I don't see smoke or fire here.
