RE:Is Arc a takeover candidate?

RE:Is Arc a takeover candidate?I agree, and in my opinion CNQ would be the more likely suitor. That being said, they are referred to in the industry as the death star (For disclosure, I own and love CNQ).

They have that nickname because they are notorious for swooping in and stealing distressed companies at a fraction of their NAV.

As we know, ARX is the exact opposite of distressed, so the death star would have to pay up handsomely if they wanted to fold ARX into their portfolio.

I just dont know if doing that fits into their MO. I would really like to know what other posters think about this.

Cheers and GLTA ARX Bulls.

My guess would be either CNQ or TOU. Of the 2 I would say CNQ would be more likely. They would like the condensate as well as increasing their gas content !
Thoughts?
