RE:You guys…I see no evidence of this in the trading records, it's possible your imagination has gotten the better of you.
Short positions have a very fixed max return associated with them. Because there is no limit (in theory) as to how high a shareprice can go then there is (again in theory) no limit as to what the max return can be for a long position investor, given enough time.
The max downside therefore is also (in theory) uncapped for losses for those who sell short.
