RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Now here is some reality for some who don't seem to know Rafi was probably thinking long term when he recently acquired 16M shares of Crew.
The summer after an El Nino winter tends to be hotter. If this happens, AC usage, electricity consumption and natural gas demand will all increase. Most people still think that natural gas is only for home heating during the winter. U.S. natural gas bottomed out last year in April but was up 60% by October. Crew was up a similar 50% from its spring 2023 lows until mid September. Will that pattern repeat this year? Maybe.
LNG Canada could be operational a year from now. That will help improve Canadian natural gas pricing. It will also put Crew's assets on the radar of larger companies looking to grow and fill the new Coastal GasLink pipeline.I just hope any buyout offer does not happen too soon.
